My yoga journey started at 18 while attending Wheaton College where I took my first yoga class. For the first time in my life, I learned how to let. things. go. Fast forward to 2014 when I stepped foot in Ebb n’ Flow to take my first aerial class. Immediately I fell in love with the silks and with the studio and community.
I now practice mindfulness and self-compassion daily, which I also teach to my middle school Spanish students. I’ve attended several different retreats and trainings, including my 200 hr YTT with Karen Miscall-Bannon, and am constantly learning more! My current interest is exploring how to honor the divine feminine in us all.
My intention is to create a safe space in my yoga classes to help all beings connect to themselves on a deeper level, with a sense of playfulness and acceptance. For me, yoga is about listening to the wisdom of the body and learning to disengage from the mind. If we can learn to do that, we can live more authentic, balanced lives and feel more connected to ourselves and others.
